Mr. Hurst is a trial lawyer with almost 15 years of litigation experience.  He is passionate about providing justice for the injured and aggrieved victims of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, catastrophic accidents, and civil rights violations. 

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Hurst is a certified mediator, having received his mediation training at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation. Mr. Hurst was also recently appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve on the court’s Character and Fitness Committee for the 2024-2026 term

Prior to joining The Cochran Firm Chicago – Mr. Hurst worked at another prominent Chicago law firm.
